First Some Definitions:
- Holistic: characterized by the belief that the parts of something are interconnected and can be explained only by reference to the whole
- Allopathy: Western/modern medicine
- Naturopathy: a system of alternative medicine that emphasizes the use of natural remedies and lifestyle changes to promote health and well-being
- Integrative Medicine: a holistic, whole-person approach to healthcare that combines conventional treatments with evidence-based complementary therapies, such as acupuncture, nutrition, and stress management, to promote health and wellness

What you won’t find here:
- Advice that is all one way or the other. I am an integrative nurse.
- Antivaccine information. Educational discussions are welcome but must be backed by actual scientific findings and are non-political.
- Politics, sorry just a big no d/t way too much drama when I am trying to learn and teach how to maintain a less stressful life.
- Unrealistic information. I know that not everyone is at the same place. I know finances are different for everyone.
What you will find here:
- Me yelling at my grown children because they have annoyed me (never a good thing to piss off your perimenopausal mom).
- Real discussions, real health and wellness information.
- Real day to day life in all its glory bound beauty right alongside some of the ugliness and even the bleh days.
- Nurse coaching that is available to everyone regardless of finances.

What does all this mean?
I love to read but realize that not everyone does. My goal is to keep informational articles short and sweet. Not chock full of anecdotal information. Anecdotes are going to be reserved for story telling time. I want to spark communication, thought, and maybe even a bit of peace for my readers and my clients. I want to build a physical and online community that allows people of all kinds to come together and find their path to health and wellness. The journey is going to look different for every person. But let’s support each other as we travel through.
How you can support this journey:
- Share links and articles, of course, isn’t that always the way things go in this day and age?
- I have started a Ko-Fi page, the joke is that you are buying someone a cup of coffee. I do have an explanation over there on how I intend to use the platform and basics of what the money is going to go to.
- Participate in discussions on the blog, Facebook, IG, and Pinterest. I am not including my surprisingly still active MySpace page ok, I am old, and I am using what I know. LOL
- A sense of humour is a must. Without that none will make it through this life.
That’s it my friends. Welcome to Earthly Nurse.
Peace, Light, and Love with a hint of dark and twisted humour
